Fang is a Mutate who later becomes a member of the Redemption Squad. He was once a human, but was turned into a "flying bug-zapper" (as he calls the Mutates) by Doctor Sevarius under Xanatos' instruction. Though at first he peacefully joined Talon and the others in the Labyrinth he eventually tried to take over and rule there according to his own rules. His coup was unsuccessful and he was imprisoned. Aside from a brief escape thanks to Demona and Thailog, Fang remained as prisoner in the Labyrinth until the events that led to his recruitment by the Redemption Squad.

Fang is one of the more humourous characters from the Gargoyles TV series and is set to become one of the lead characters in the Bad Guys spin-off. His wise-cracking, bully-like personality make him a distinct character among the cast, contrasting with the more serious members such as Yama and Matrix. (more...)

The purpose of the GargWiki is to hopefully be used as the ultimate reference tool for the animated series Gargoyles, as envisioned by Greg Weisman. As such, the primary focus of the wiki is the first two seasons of Gargoyles and the new comic book being published by Slave Labor Graphics, in the Canon category.

Over the past decade, Greg Weisman revealed many secrets and plans he had for the Gargoyles Universe including spin-offs and new characters. Entries on these revelations are located in the Canon-in-training category.

Some entries contain text written in BOLD TYPE, for clarification purposes, this is for easy distinction in a primarily Canon entry between what is Canon and what is still Canon-in-training.

Finally, the Apocrypha category is dedicated to non-canon Gargoyles material, such as The Goliath Chronicles, the Marvel Comic, the Disney Adventures comic and the Sega Genesis videogame.
