"the clan refused to have much with its human protectorate"

I'm not sure what this clause is supposed to mean, but it seems nonsensical/ungrammatical. I also wonder if it is worth it to make London Clan a sub-category like the Mayan Clan. There are only three members after all, but then again we might meet more in the future. -Vaevictis Asmadi
