Vyônes is a fictional French town created by pulp writer Clark Ashton Smith in 1930. The town is first mentioned by Smith in "The End of the Story" in 1930, before being fully fleshed out as the setting of "The Maker of Gargoyles" in 1932.

In Smith's fiction, Vyônes is one of the principle towns of the fictional French province of Averoigne, a region infamous for sinister and supernatural phenomena. As in the Gargoyles Universe, Smith's Vyônes is noteworthy for its majestic cathedral and all too realistic stone grotesques.
