Do we consider it canon that those two women Judge Roebling is talking to are Mary and Finella?  If so, I guess we could say that they're dressed as "two 10th century Scottish women" or "themselves in their 10th century Scotland outfits.  I kind of doubt they walk around dressed like that all the time. -- [[User:Demonskrye|Demonskrye]] 11:49, 2 October 2009 (CDT)

Revision as of 10:03, 2 October 2009

OK, we've now got an article for the Manhattan Clan's favorite holiday. Potential additions (that I'm either not equipped to do or to lazy to do right now) include more listings pf characters and their costumes and pictures of characters in their costumes. Enjoy!

Thanks Demonskyre!, It's just what I had in mind. Very cool. Maybe you could add just that pic of the Jack O Lantern seen in Eye of the Beholder as the main photo to make the page more visually interesting. -- Matt 19:53, 14 January 2008 (CST)

Margot's costume

I'm trying to figure out who Margot may have been dressed as, if it was somebody specific. There's no real reason to think that she was, except that she wanted Brendan to go dressed as "Valentino" (presumably Rudolph Valentino?), and she might have wanted them to go as a matching pair. Does anyone have any theories on this? -- Supermorff 17:33, 30 September 2008 (CDT)

No one specific. She was a flapper. --GregX 17:59, 30 September 2008 (CDT)
But not a specific flapper? Okay then. -- Supermorff 03:33, 1 October 2008 (CDT)

Vinnie's costume

The picture currently labeled as Vinnie isn't Vinnie. I'm like 98% sure that Vinnie was dressed as a space alien. Also, the montages are great, but maybe they're a touch on the small side. Or maybe I'm just getting old.----Gweisman 02:52, 17 December 2008 (CST)

A space alien? I'll have to take a closer look... I didn't see any aliens. We saw that guy say "Hey look!" and then we got the overhead shot and Vinnie saying, "Check it out, a costume over a costume! Far out!" So, now I don't know if it was the police guy or somebody else in the shot. Damn! Well, in any case, I'll look again. Thanks for telling me!
And I don't know what to do about the size of the pics... suggestions? DTaina 05:50, 17 December 2008 (CST)
They are kind of on the small side. Could we maybe have larger stand-alone pictures of the clan and just collage together all of the secondary and more minor characters for each year? -- Demonskrye 08:00, 17 December 2008 (CST)
Okay, here's a screenshot of the scene. [1] Could you tell me which one's Vinnie, Greg? DTaina 07:55, 17 December 2008 (CST)
My notes just say "Space Alien". To be more specific, I'd need to watch the episode. No time to do that now. Maybe when I get back from vacation.--Gweisman 01:16, 19 December 2008 (CST)
Is this Vinnie? [2] It kind of looks like a space alien to me! DTaina 09:12, 21 December 2008 (CST)

Edmund's date

OMG! Is that lady in the back of the picture naked?!?! Hahaha. -- Matt 08:09, 17 December 2008 (CST)
Oh my god I just noticed that!! [LOL] DTaina 08:17, 17 December 2008 (CST)
She's probably wearing something very skin tight and flesh colored. Or maybe she is taking the opportunity to go out in her birthday suit. I'm sure stranger things have happened. -- Demonskrye 17:20, 17 December 2008 (CST)

The Real Vinnie

I know, I know. It's not Vinnie. I think it's this guy:

Greg, could you please confirm this? I'll edit the screenshot then. DTaina 15:31, 30 September 2009 (CDT)

This is what I have written in my notes: "Vinnie was dressed as a space alien, himself. " But I'd have to watch the episode again to confirm what I meant by that. Don't have time right now.--Gweisman 02:35, 1 October 2009 (CDT)

Greg would know better, but the note almost makes it sound like Vinnie didn't actually wear a costume, but told people that he was dressed as some kind of shape changing or body snatching alien. Either that or Greg is being coy and Vinnie will be revealed to be a space alien in a future story -- Demonskrye 12:03, 2 October 2009 (CDT)

Mary and Finella

Do we consider it canon that those two women Judge Roebling is talking to are Mary and Finella? If so, I guess we could say that they're dressed as "two 10th century Scottish women" or "themselves in their 10th century Scotland outfits. I kind of doubt they walk around dressed like that all the time. -- Demonskrye 11:49, 2 October 2009 (CDT)
