It's been a long time since I saw "The New Olympains" so you'll have to forgive me for not remembering, but does anyone actually use the term "murder" to describe what Proteus did to Taurus's father?  If not, maybe "killed" would be a better word.  I think "murdered" implies some degree of intention and forethought and while we know Proteus feels anything but bad about killing Taurus's father, we don't know exactly what happened.  Maybe Proteus specifically went out of his way to kill Taurus's father, but it's also possible that he was just there trying to stop Proteus and killing him was just a means to and end. -- [[User:Demonskrye|Demonskrye]] 20:32, 29 December 2008 (CST)

Personally, I prefer only to provide Wikipedia, Theoi, etcetera links to the actual character, not just a namesake. A lot of New Olympians have links to Wikipedia stuff on them, and I've avoided adding any Theoi links except to Minotaur and Talos. At the very least, I think that a wikipedia link is sufficient for a mere namesake. Theoi is a very detailed and very specialized site, not a place to go for a basic overview. -- Vaevictis Asmadi 23:04, 7 September 2007 (CDT)
