Since the Panther Queen herself is in Other and this guy is not actually a character in "Gargoyles" should he be moved to the Other category, along with various peoples' aliases? - Vaevictis Asmadi

The Panther Queen is included in "Other" because she is an animal (or a were), rather than a human. Notice that Panther Queen is also included as a "Canon character", as are Oba and Louie. No real distinction has been made for characters that only appear in stories-within-the-story, although you may think that there should be.
It's the old "species" problem for unusual characters, and yet more reason to create some sort of "Undetermined or unusual species" category. Actually, an "Animal" category might be a good idea also, e.g. for Gilly and Cagney.
And since you've raised this point about aliases, it might be worth creating a new category specifically for them. The problem then arises: where is the dividing line between an alias and a real character? Owen and Puck are probably distinct enough to be separate characters. What about Dominique Destine? -- Supermorff 02:46, 7 March 2007 (CST)

Ah, I thought the Panther Queen was in Other because she was in a story. I guess she should be in Humans though, no less than Dominique!

I don't know whether aliases need their own category, but I would not include Owen or Anastasia or Dominique as aliases, since they involve complete transformation into actual humans.

I don't know that animals such as Gilly or Cagney or Nessie are characters at all. Currently they are in Other instead of Characters. But that reminds me, I wanted to move gargoyle beasts to a separate Character category, since they are not the same species as gargoyles. -Vaevictis Asmadi
