Benvolio is one of the Light-Bringers who traveled to Wyvern Hill in 971 AD. He is the twin of Malvolio.

Benvolio is a performer dressed in a classical mask representing laughter.

Benvolio is apparently named for the character of that name in William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, a friend of Romeo's.
