Would anyone object if, in the entry's history section, before she is named by Macbeth, I change her name to "Angel"? That was what she would have been known as in Dark Ages. --[[User:Greg Bishansky|GregX]] 00:31, 7 September 2013 (PDT) | Would anyone object if, in the entry's history section, before she is named by Macbeth, I change her name to "Angel"? Blood Pudding
Somehow I knew this would wind up here. It was a smart-ass response. Putting it here seems to legitimize it -- unless we can somehow indicate the humor out of context with Ask Greg.--Gweisman 02:33, 29 May 2010 (CDT)
- I don't think it should be on the page at all. It clearly was not inteded to be a CiT tidbit. And I have to say that performing the change as a minor edit was a bit sneaky and unreasonable since (legitimacy aside) it clearly isn't a minor change. -- Matt 07:57, 29 May 2010 (CDT)
The page doesn't still seem to be blocked, so do we need this?
Why is this page blocked? I wanted to make improvements... --Sevarius hello? --Sevarius
It has been blocked due to vandalism, and shall remain that way until her next appearance.
- I don't want to cause a big argument, but I was really trying to remain neutral. How is saying that Demona tried "turning" Angela over to her side (as opposed to "subverting") vandalism?
- Or how is changing "Fortunately, Goliath intervened at the last moment to destroy the Praying Gargoyle, forcing Demona to abandon her plan." to "After Demona told Goliath that the Praying Gargoyle was the only thing protecting the Gargoyles, he destroyed it" vandalism? I think her telling Goliath how to stop her was important; Weisman said, "Yes, she tells herself she wants all humans dead, but in fact she isn't always ready to act on those feelings... As for Demona often if not always sewing (sowing?) the seeds of her own defeat. Why, yes, she sort of does. I don't think she consciously thought she was giving Goliath the info he needed to stop her. But she did. She's a conflicted character."
- Vandalism would be if I was adding profanities or something. --Doop 10:05, 18 May 2007 (CDT)
- The problem is, and I went the rounds with you elseware in PM, that you are so clearly biased towards Demona that your edits were always from a Demona-revisionist stance. I love Demona, she's my favorite character, but I won't sugar coat her, and I won't make any excuses for the stupid things she did. -- Greg Bishansky
- Regardless, all I did this time was change "subvert" to "turn" and mention how Demona told Goliath how to stop her. I wasn't adding any opinions to the article. --Doop 15:25, 18 May 2007 (CDT)

Power?
"She also continues to have a strong craving for power, hoping that when she destroys humanity and gargoyles subsequently rule the world, she will rule over them." Not that it seems far-fetched, but where is this from, exactly? Caswin 13:40, 13 June 2007 (CDT)
It's in the show. "Rule the gargoyles, rule the world. It's all within your grasp." and "I will take my rightful place." -- Greg Bishansky
The Human Category
I was wondering. Should Demona be in the Humans category as well as the Gargoyles category? She is a human by day now, and according to CiT, she's not losing that feature any time soon, if ever. I'm sure she would hate being in that category, but I'm wondering. --GregX 03:02, 5 May 2010 (CDT)
- Well, Dominique should be in that category for sure, and I suppose that would redirect to Demona's page. So, yeah, I think she should. --Matt 07:19, 5 May 2010 (CDT)
I'm not sure. And the idea of ordering inside the category at "Destine, Dominique" makes no sense, because nobody will be able to tell that's why the page is there unless they're already on the Demona page and they look at the source code. We could categorise the Dominique redirect in Humans, and leave Demona out? I think that's a bit better. -- Supermorff 13:34, 5 May 2010 (CDT)
- Oh, okay, so on this wiki apparently you can't categorise a redirect. Dang. -- Supermorff 15:11, 6 May 2010 (CDT)
