Applause Figures

The Applause figures were small PVC figurines, and large vinyl dolls produced by Applause based on characters from Gargoyles.

Demona

The released product

Like most of the large Applause figures, Demona was intended to be extremely animation-accurate. She features no points of articulation. While the promotional images featured an extremely animation accurate looking figurine, the released figure featured solid black hair as opposed to the character's red hair. Many fans also reported a warped-tail pointing straight down which, unfortunately, made the figure difficult to stand on a shelf.

Goliath

Like most of the large Applause figures, Goliath is extremely animation-accurate. He features only two-points of articulation at his shoulders.

As with several of the Kenner Action Figures, the Applause Goliath was featured as set dressing on the short-lived NBC sitcom, Men Behaving Badly.
