1930: Warner Bros. Pictures' Sinkin' in the Bathtub, the first Looney Tunes cartoon, debuts at the Warner Bros. Theatre in Hollywood, California, United States.

1934: Surgeon Colonel Robert Wilson claims to have seen the Loch Ness Monster, later providing a photo famously referred to as the "Surgeon's Photo".
