Magni and Modi's Twin Swords.

Magni and Modi's Twin Swords were matching blades carried by the rookery brothers.

History

It is unknown when Magni and Modi acquired their blades during their eighty-four years of service in Byzantium's Varangian Guard. In 1195, Modi used his blade to murder Abu Jafar Ahmad Ibn Yusuf Ibn Al-Kammad, the archivist for the Great Palace, during his theft of the Eye of Odin and later used the murder weapon to frame Guardian (on his second voyage from Avalon) for the death and theft.

It was only when Shahrizad suggested to Emperor Isaac Angelos to execute the Scotsman stranger with the murder weapon as a means of poetic justice does Magni notice the sword and realize that the weapon matched his own, revealing Modi's guilt. ("Fallen From the Ranks...")

Characteristics

Magni and and Modi's twin swords had matching gold hilts with pommels shaped like a lion's head.
