Chocolate Cream Pie is an American dessert pie made with chocolate, egg custard, and whipped cream.

History

Not as funny as Banana Cream.

When Darkwing Duck intervened in Norman, Murray and Abraham's attempt to rob the First National Bank of St. Canard, the crooks unleashed their chocolate cream pie cannons. Darkwing Duck defeated the crooks while lecturing them over their choice of pies, arguing that they should have used Banana Cream instead. ("Dark-Duck Reflections")

Production Background

The crooks' choice of ammo for their pie-cannons - as well as Darkwing's subsequent lecture - was based off a gag in the Bonkers episode "The Toon That Ate Hollywood" pertaining as to which pies were the funniest. [1][2]
