Banana Cream Pie is an American dessert pie made with bananas, egg custard, and whipped cream.
History
Following the destruction of his motorcycle at the hands of Lexington, the loss of his job aboard the Fortress-1 due to the actions of Goliath and Demona, being terminated from Gen-U-Tech Systems after Dr. Sevarius was abducted by Goliath, Vinnie Grigori decided to hunt a gargoyle down and finally have his revenge.
Vinnie commissioned a gigantic pie-launcher shaped like an oversized bazooka from Mr. Acme, the weapon (which Vinnie dubbed as Mr. Carter) was designed to fire a Banana Cream Pie. After a few mishaps, the human succeeded in hitting Goliath in the face with the dessert – much to the big gargoyle's confusion. Hudson identified the dish as a Banana Cream Pie. ("Vendettas")
Production Background
Vinnie's choice of ammo for Mr. Carter was based off a gag in the Bonkers episode "The Toon That Ate Hollywood" pertaining as to which pies were the funniest. [1][2]
