Sigurd's Flagship was a Viking longship and the jewel of King Sigurd Magnusson's navy. It was also crewed by five gargoyles.
History
Sigurd's Flagship was one of sixty in the King's fleet, which sailed from Norway in 1107 before arriving in Galicia in 1108. After Demona and Angelika joined the crew, Sigurd's Flagship and the rest of the fleet sailed to (and besieged) Lisbon. From there, it passed the Rock of Gibraltar then east to the island of Formentera, before stopping in Jerusalem in the summer of 1110.
By October 1110, the fleet sailed to Syria and began a two-month attack on the port of Sidon. In what became it's final leg on the voyage, the fleet arrived in Constantinople in January 111. The March, King Sigurd sold it and the rest of his remaining fleet to Byzantine Emperor Alexios Komnenos. ("Fortune Favors the Brave...")
