Robot Chicken is a stop-motion animated series that premiered on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim on February 20th, 2005. The show features comedy sketches, often utilizing nostalgic toys and action figures to satirize its principle characters. For Gargoyles, Kenner Action Figures were used for the sketches.
References to Gargoyles on Robot Chicken
Robot Chicken first alluded to Gargoyles with the 2014 episode, "Secret of the Booze".
In the 2015 episode, "Cheese Puff Mountain", David Xanatos finds a sleeping Goliath perched on a building and pushes him off the edge, only to fall victim to New York City's notorious pigeon population.
The 2019 episode, "Musya Shakhtyorov in: Honeyboogers", finds Elisa Maza and Goliath in Central Park, where Elisa discovers what happens when to a gargoyle at sunrise (and, intentionally or not, directs its audience to some fan questions about gargoyle biology). [1][2] Goliath and Elisa Maza are also featured in the 2021 episode, "Might Cause Light Cannibalism", where they learn the hard way of where Goliath can safely turn to stone for the day.
