Demona's sword is a weapon wielded by the immortal gargoyle.

History
Demona acquired the weapon sometime in the 11th Century. In 1093, the rookling Angelika asked why a gargoyle would ever have use for a human weapon. Demona, in turn, credited the Gargoyle of the Sword for demonstrating its usefulness at the Battle of Rathveramoen ninety-six years earlier. ("Fools Rush In...", "Tyrants", "Phoenix")
She later used the sword to unceremoniously kill the Hunter – this time the Scottish King, Malcolm Canmore. Despite his son, Donald Canmore, knowing the gargoyle was guilty, the King's wounds were ambiguous enough that Northumbrian Arkil Morel quickly claimed credit for the regicide at the Battle of Alnwick. In the century to follow, Demona used the sword during her time voyaging with Sigurd Magnusson, attacking humans across the Mediterranean Sea, to the French city of Vyones, where she confronted Blaise Reynard for the Stone Golems he conjured. In 1997, when Demona broke into the Metropolitan Museum of Art's exhibit to retrieve Angelika's Gold Locket from their Vikings in Japan exhibit, she wielded the sword once more against the Manhattan Clan. ("A Prize Beyond Compare...")
