Australia is a continent on the planet Earth.
History
Australia has been inhabited by humans since ancient times; gargoyles probably once lived there as well, though none do in modern times.
In 1996, Australia became the ninth recorded destination of the Avalon World Tour. Fox and her mother, Anastasia Renard, had a laboratory in which they had created the Matrix. The Matrix escaped containment and began what Renard called the Grey Goo Scenario. Dingo (a native Australian) and Goliath entered the Dreamtime, with the help of the Shaman, to wage battle against it. ("Walkabout")
Dingo and Matrix later teamed up to become a superhero team in Australia, fighting enemies such as Tazmanian Tiger, until they were tracked down by Hunter and recruited into the Redemption Squad. ("Strangers")
