Peter "Pete" Choy is the teenage nephew of Choi Yingpei.
History
In 1995, Pete met Rosaria Sanchez when they rescued Ollie, a five-year-old boy, from drowning in Central Park and were honored by the city of New York for their act of heroism. After that day, the two started a relationship (to the disapproval of their families). Peter was, specifically, ordered by his aunt to not associate with her. [1][2]
The two were mentioned in a newspaper article read by Hudson, Broadway, and Dino Dracon. ("High Noon", "Tale Old As Time")
In May 1997, while meeting in secret in Central Park, they were kidnapped by Dino Dracon, Glasses, and Pal Joey. Both were forced to pose for photographs depicting them as holding the other prisoner so that Dino could bait Choi Yingpei and Huracán Sanchez into going to war with each other. When Dino discovered that the true reason the teens were meeting was because they had fallen in love, he found it hilarious. ("Tale Old as Time", "Render Unto Caesar", "Mayday")
When Dino's plans began to unravel, he plotted to murder the two teenagers and send their remains to their relatives to reignite hostilites. But before he could kill them, they were rescued by Brooklyn, Lexington, Broadway, and Gnash and returned home. Peter Choy explained to Yingpei what had happened, but couldn't identify his masked abductors. ("Young At Heart", "Cold Comfort")
