Tasks
In this section, editors can list GargWiki pages according to the work that needs to be done on them. Editors can request pages anonymously or sign their comments by adding three tildes at the end: ~~~
Editors are also encouraged to give a brief explanation as to why they have listed the page, and ideas for improvement.
Requested pages
Special:Wantedpages contains an automatically-generated list of non-existent pages with the most incoming links, but users can also request pages to be created by listing them here.
- Puck's flute -- An item page, probably a stub for now, but it did appear in a couple of episodes.
- Gargoyle Way -- We hear this phrase a lot to mean a lot of different things. Maybe someday we can cook up a page talking about the gargoyle code (parenting, banishing, leader/second, all that) Mabe it could help split up the gargoyles page more, as I did when I made clan. -- Matt 16:44, 1 January 2008 (CST)
- I would rather have a series of interconnected pages, like Gargoyle, Gargoyle culture (which would link out to, e.g. Clan and Wind Ceremony), Gargoyle biology (which would link out to, e.g. Egg), and maybe even Gargoyle history or similar. We can keep some information (mostly canon) in the main article and then direct people wherever they want to go. Gargoyle Way can redirect to Gargoyle culture. We might even be able to merge some info back into more general articles from clan and egg and whatever else. To keep in line with the archives at Ask Greg, gargoyle culture could also be called gargoyle customs. ... Huh. That seems kinda complicated when I write it all out. -- Supermorff 17:21, 14 January 2008 (CST)
- Hovercraft -- Talk about hovercrafts and airships. Just a thought. -- Matt 11:48, 10 January 2008 (CST)
- Specifically Brod's hovercraft from "Golem" and "Turf". -- Supermorff
- Yeah, but we also had the Cyberbiotics' airships, the Hunter's airship and sky sleds and maybe others I can't think of. -- Matt 17:59, 14 January 2008 (CST)
- Street Thugs -- Since we have pages for most of the other recurring characters, I figured they needed their own page as well. Maybe have a subsection for London Street Thugs. -- Matt 17:15, 23 January 2008 (CST)
- They appeared in Awakening... uh... 3, Avalon 1 and Hunter's Moon 1. The voice actors who played them switched roles between their first and second appearances (Keith David went from playing the bald white guy to the black guy in a leather jacket). They acquired a gun before their third appearance. That's all I got on them. -- Supermorff 15:10, 1 February 2008 (CST)
- Construction worker -- Another recurring character without a page. Where there any others we have not done yet? -- Matt 17:15, 23 January 2008 (CST)
- From Vendettas and Hunter's Moon 1. Any other appearances? -- Supermorff 15:10, 1 February 2008 (CST)
- Fairlane -- How about a page for Elisa's car? We see it so much in the the show. It could go in the Vehicles Category PGFish 20:25, 9 April 2008 (CDT)
- Since it wasn't identified as a Fairlane, I'd suggest just calling it Elisa's Car or something and mentioning that someone based it off the Fairlane in the Production Background or whatever. Just my two cents. -- Matt 21:22, 7 May 2008 (CDT)
- Executive Assistant -- Owen Burnett, Preston Vogel, Glasses, Shari, Robyn Correy... Not sure if this is a dumb idea or not, but I thought I'd put it out there for discussion. Feel free to totally reject this one. -- Matt
- I don't know what to call it, but we REALLY need a page on that Gargoyles parody that Greg wrote for Captain Atom/JLE. Link! -- Supermorff 13:05, 2 May 2008 (CDT)
- How about a Gargoyles Parody page talking about the comic and Freakazoids Lawn Gnomes. -- Matt
- I don't know anything about that Lawn Gnomes segment. It's hard to say whether the two things are similar enough to go in the same article. In any case it might not be worth it, since they're probably the only two parodic pieces there are, and we might as well give each of them their own articles. -- Supermorff 03:45, 3 May 2008 (CDT)
- So now I'm thinking we could have "The Flashback of Notre Dame", in the style of any other issue article, and Freakazoid!, in the style of, e.g. W.I.T.C.H. -- Supermorff 05:28, 7 May 2008 (CDT)
- Lawn Gnomes link! Thanks to Warcrafter at the Ask Greg comment room. -- Supermorff 15:48, 7 May 2008 (CDT)
- Also, have a look at the first minute of this video. -- Supermorff 06:48, 9 May 2008 (CDT)

- Michaelmas - We've already got Halloween, so why not this too? Makes sense to me. We can cover both Michaelmas Day (29th September) and Michaelmas Eve (28th) -- Supermorff 07:59, 3 May 2008 (CDT)
Pages in need of expansion
Special:Shortpages contains an automatically-generated list of pages with the least information, but users can also list pages to be expanded here.
- Gargoyles (video game) - per the talk page
- Gargoyles (TV series) - addition of a History section, per Talk:Gargoyles (TV series)
- Gargoyles (SLG comics)
- Humans -- Talent for invention and technology. Make too much noise (and constantly modify their environment) to sense the biorhythms. Probably invented naming. History with a focus on their relations with other races. -- Vaevictis Asmadi 10:07, 24 December 2007 (CST)
Requested images
Here, users can list articles that they believe could be improved by the inclusion of appropriate images.
- Avalon Clan -- Matt has requested a collage of higher quality pics of all members seen in canon.
- Ishimura Clan -- Matt has requested a collage of higher quality pics of all members seen in canon.
- Labyrinth Clan -- Matt has requested a collage of higher quality pics of all members seen in canon.
- Do I include Brentwood? D Taina 17:25, 9 May 2008 (CDT)
- No, I'd exclude Brentwood and Fang as they are no longer members as of where we are story-wise. -- Matt 18:58, 9 May 2008 (CDT)
- Halloween - Demonskrye would like some pictures of various characters in their Halloween costumes.
- From Eye of the Beholder or Gargoyles #4 and #5? Or both? D Taina 17:25, 9 May 2008 (CDT)
- I'd personally like both eventually, but no rush. You can also feel free to grab pics of any other characters with interesting Halloween costumes (like Alex, Brendan, Morgan, maybe Thailog?, etc). -- Demonskrye 18:39, 9 May 2008 (CDT)
- Main Page - This is just a thought and probably worth some discussion, but maybe it'd be cool to have a pic of Lexington on his laptop computer (from "High Noon") in the top left corner of the Main Page, next to the site title. I just think the main page needs to be more visually interesting. -- Matt 12:16, 9 February 2008 (CST)
- I got one. Let me know where you want me to put it. D Taina 17:25, 9 May 2008 (CDT)
- Go ahead and upload it and we can figure out where to put it. Supermorff, any ideas? -- Matt 18:58, 9 May 2008 (CDT)
- I'm sure we'll figure something out. -- Supermorff
- Here's the pic. It may need to be cropped or to have the characters and the background edited out. Let me know. Lexington's Laptop
- I'm sure we'll figure something out. -- Supermorff
- Go ahead and upload it and we can figure out where to put it. Supermorff, any ideas? -- Matt 18:58, 9 May 2008 (CDT)
- Odin - Could we have a pic of Odin in his polar bear form? Maybe a close-up, so we can see he's still only got one eye? (I seem to be implicitly assuming that the picture will come from "Eye of the Storm" and not "The Gathering", but I guess either would be fine.) Also, the main picture on this page seems ever so slightly grainy on my screen, but maybe that's just me. -- Supermorff 16:39, 13 May 2008 (CDT)
- And one last thought (I seem to be on an Odin kick lately): could we have a couple of close-up pictures of Odin's face, one without his eye and one with. I suggest both in his old, cloaked man guise from the beginning and end of "Eye of the Storm". Perhaps the two images could be placed side-by-side. They don't have to be big, but it would be a good way of illustrating what happened to the Eye of Odin. -- Supermorff 09:40, 14 May 2008 (CDT)
- Anubis Along the same lines as the Odin picture, I thought that Anubis should have a picture from when he was merged with Jackal, and one when he was merged with the Emir, as they were both aspects of Anubis. Likewise, a similar picture might be on Jackal and the Emir's pages. Also, I think that the Scroll of Thoth doesn't have a picture, but I am unsure if there was ever a clear shot of the Papyrus in the episode.Griffinwyrm7 16:47, 14 May 2008 (CDT)
Hi, guys. I just wanted to let you know that I'll be fulfilling these image requests soon now that I have plenty of time on my hands. I hope to have them done by the weekend. Take care! D Taina 12:20, 7 May 2008 (CDT)
- Thanks DTaina! You rock!!! -- Matt 17:46, 7 May 2008 (CDT)
Hey, guys. DT here. If you know of any articles that have low quality pics (such as VCR screenshots or logos), or if you just want more pics, don't hesitate to let me know so I can get to work. D Taina 17:25, 9 May 2008 (CDT)
