Charles was born in 1936. [1] Like the other Canmores, he was a Hunter, zealously devoted to destroying Demona and the rest of her kind. On September 28, 1980, he attacked her at Notre Dame Cathedral while she was recovering the Praying Gargoyle from its secret cache there, and was slain by her. ("Hunter's Moon" Part Three)

Production Background

Voice Actor: Diedrich Bader

Charles Canmore was originally scripted to die while confronting Demona inside the Catacombs of Paris. Before his death in the extended flashback, he shared to his three children that "Until all gargoyles are dead, we can no more stop hunting than breathing the air," a twisted take of Hudson's mantra on the Gargoyle Way.
